SourcingLink.net Gives Further Update and Insight on the Multi-Billion Lithium Industry

SAN DIEGO, CA- (iHub-April 7, 2016) – SourcingLink.net Inc. (OTC Pink: SNET) is encouraged with the recent developments that we believe will increase the value of our Lac Fire Lithium properties located east of Lac Pivert, Quebec.

Lithium is a soft, silver-white metal used in pharmaceuticals, ceramics, grease, lubricants and heat-resistant glass. It’s also used in lithium-ion batteries, which power everything from cellphones to laptops to electric vehicles – demand is growing fastest in this area.

According to Frost & Sullivan, the global market for lithium-ion batteries is expected to double to $22.5 billion in 2016 from $11.7 billion in 2012. Consumer goods and automobile sectors are driving the demand. Zacks Research report further states that with the increasing use of lithium ion batteries in consumer electronic products as well as efforts to promote the use of electric cares by many governments to curb pollution, the demand for these batteries is expected to rise.

Lithium–ion batteries are used by many auto manufactures, including Tesla Motors, Inc. General Motors Co., Navistar International Corp., BMW AG, Daimler AG and Ford Motor Co. According to Zacks Research, Tesla Motors, Inc.’s decision to build a $5 billion Gigafactory to meet its requirement of lithium-ion battery packs brought glaring focus on the shortage of supply of this emerging energy storage technology (and the raw material – Lithium). Zacks further states that, however, the market for lithium-ion batteries has a lot of untapped potential.

According to a recent article published in Lithium Investing News by Teresa Matich, a note by Stomcrow Capital, there’s little chance of substitution for Lithium. In short, the world is going to (continue to) need a lot of lithium. What’s more, demand from other sectors (besides automotive) isn’t going away.

Sourcinglink.net has recently acquired a block of 8 new claims sharing a 12 km boundary which is on three sides with the Rose Lithium Tantalum Property of Critical Elements Corp.

The Lithium Borate Fusion method is more specific to the analysis of rare earth elements and have actually detected additional concentrations of Cerium (1420-1450 ppm), Lanthanum (744-791 ppm) and Yttrium (122-176 ppm).  Other significant analyses are Neodymium (546-728 ppm) and Niobium (385-515 ppm).

Anomalous rare earth elements were also detected last year east of the Commerce Resources property.  This site was located about 7.5 km northeast of the two samples described above.  Significant values were 3850 ppm Cerium, 1890 ppm Lanthanum, 964 Neodymium and 259 Yttrium (see SNET 2014 Press Releases).

SNET plans to return to the area in the Spring of 2016 to further evaluate the rare earth potential of the newly acquired claims as well as additional targets.

SourcingLink.net, Inc. Announces A New Discovery

SAN DIEGO, CA- (Presswire October 15, 2015) – SourcingLink.net, Inc. (OTC Pink: SNET) Further to the press release published on October 13, 2015 SourcingLink.net (SNET) is pleased to announce that the most recent exploration program at the Ashram Property and vicinity has resulted in the discovery of a new carbonatite occurrence with anomalous rare earth metal values.  The new occurrence is bordering on the claims of Commerce Resources who have completed a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment on the Eldor Rare Earth Project.  The project is located about 130 kilometers south of Kuujjuaq, Quebec.

Two samples taken 30 meters apart were analyzed and found to contain 25.2 and 26.8% calcium and 11,800 and 38,300 ppm phosphorus.  In addition the samples were found to contain anomalous rare earth and rare earth indicator elements listed in the table below.

Ca Ce La Mo P Sr Th U Y
Sample % ppm ppm ppm ppm ppm ppm ppm ppm
E504860 26.8 1370 686 26.7 38300 1930 59 <5 148
E504861 25.2 234 111 23.2 11800 1450 <5 14 105

Subsequent to the find, an application for a total of 11 claims was made to cover the prospective ground for a total of 518 hectares.

Additional analyses have been ordered and will be further studied to understand the nature of the carbonatite and where additional mineralization may be located.

SNET is very excited to have found a new carbonatite occurrence in the area since carbonatite occurrences are not easily found in the field due to their relatively soft mineral composition that is easily weathered over time.  Of the 187,000+ surface samples collected by the Quebec Government and companies doing work in the province, only 211 (0.1%) have been classified as carbonatite.

SNET plans to return to the area in the Spring of 2016 to further evaluate the rare earth potential of the newly acquired claims.

San Diego, CA – (Marketwired June 8, 2015) SourcingLink.net (OTC Markets:SNET) corporate update: In June, 2015 Cohen Grassroots Research, conducted an independent analysis of SourcingLink.net. President Chuck Wagner, was interviewed to help with the analysis.

Complete report: http://sourcinglink.org/about-us/

After reading the Grassroots Research, Inc. report, Chuck Wagner was quoted “I’m encouraged that an independent research firm took the time to analyze our data and create a report focused on our company and the potential of our claims.”
Report Excerpts.

“According to Transparency Market Research, the worldwide demand for Rare Earth Elements was worth $3.93 billion in 2013. The expected CAGR growth till 2018 is expected to be 13%, and the market value is expected to be worth $8.19 billion. REEs are used in most of the today’s technology products. The use of REE will only continue to grow as more and more applications are discovered. According to the USGS Mineral Commodity Summaries, US imported am estimated $210 million worth of REE..” -Cohen Research Report, June 2015″The market for REEs is expected to grow. Some new firms will want to enter the market since China is slowly losing market share. With additional uses for REEs being discovered more and more frequently, SNET is well poised to benefit from being a new entrant intending to makes its entry into the REE market.

We believe the Company’s strong management, strategic partnerships, robust projected revenue streams and growth potential of the REE markets makes the stock a potentially valuable investment proposition. SourcingLink.net may provide a potential short term and long term investment opportunity for risk-averse investors.”-Cohen Research Report, June 2015“We are pleased to receive this report and share it with our shareholders and possible investors” CEO Anne Carioti

SNET Discovers Rare Earth Mineralization on the Eldor Property

SAN DIEGO, CA- (Marketwired May 12, 2015) SourcingLink.net, Inc is full of pride to announce that anomalous / precious earth mineralization has been discovered on newly acquired claims by SNET.   This undiscovered resource in Northern Quebec “Lac Le Moyne” property, is just adjacent to the goliath property of Commerce Resources (valued @ 2.32 billion).  SNET’s property had similar radiation readings then Commerce Resources..  Within this property we have discovered new claims that were staked to cover a thorium equivalent radiometric anomaly (see map below).

For the last 5 years Commerce Resources has spent millions of dollars on the neighboring property.  That being said, this territory has revealed that these anomalies are a good pathfinder for rare earth mineralization.

During a short reconnaissance program on the property last year, 14 grab samples were located and collected with the aid of a radiation detecting scintillo-meter.  Two of the samples were found to be anomalous in rare earth metals (see table below).

Both samples are of an intrusive nature. The anomalous values in the elements contained in the chart above along with the high values in calcium and phosphorus indicate they may be derived from the Ashram carbonatite or a new carbonatite complex in the area.

“It is very encouraging to find rare earth mineralization on the property after such a short exploration program.  We expect similar promising results with additional work next season” – Wayne Holmstead, Geologist.

We are very excited to be the next door neighbor of the Commerce Resources Ashram property.  Their Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) reported a $2.32 billion resource with a NPV of 10%”. – Anne Carioti, CEO

The figure below shows equivalent thorium concentration from an airborne survey conducted by Commerce Resources in 2007. The mineralized zones are found to be associated with a high thorium equivalent (red to pink areas on the map). The new claims acquired by SNET cover part of a thorium equivalent anomaly where the mineralized samples 504954 and 504961 were found.

Future plans include a return to the property in summer of 2015 when the snow cover has melted (likely around June).  The Ashram deposit exhibits anomalous radioactivity, therefore a ground radiometric survey and prospecting will be done in the previously reported vicinity for anomalous lake sediment survey samples and radiometric anomalies.  Areas of anomalous radioactivity and sample locations above will be trenched and sampled.

North American Rare Earth Suppliers — Vital for Future Global Needs

SAN DIEGO, CA–(Marketwired – Feb 27, 2015) – SourcingLink.net, Inc. (PINKSHEETS:SNET) — “We believe the rare earth metal (REM) industry is poised for a turnaround. Initially, we went into the area because of the recorded radiation readings by the Canadian Government. Our first exploration resulted in more findings than we had expected. We are excited for these early results,” said Chuck Wagner, president of SourcingLink.net

According to the January 7th Reuters article, China supplies 90% of the world’s REM supplies. There are only two companies outside of China that currently produce rare earth metals. When China restricted exports in 2010, REM’s reached an all-time high. We feel a large reason these metals are currently low is that industrial nations are drawing down on their own stock piles. When these stockpiles are depleted, countries will need additional resources to supply these metals which SNET is working towards being a supplier.

“Beijing is expected to unveil new regulations for rare earth mining, processing and exports, perhaps including a value-added tax to replace the export tariff.” Reuters, January 7, 2015. In our opinion, this translates to a higher price being paid by consumers.

What are rare earth elements? Rare earth elements basically consist of 17 seldom found elements that are present in the periodic table. Out of these 17 rare elements, 15 come under Lanthanide series. These 15 Lanthanides and 2 other elements: Scandium and Yttrium are together known as rare earth elements.– www.matamec.com

What are the uses of rare earth? Rare earth elements have several industrial uses worldwide. They are primarily used in the electronic and electrical fields. Most of the rare earth elements mentioned above, along with their alloys, are being used in various electronic devices such as rechargeable batteries, computer memory, cell phones, DVDs, magnets, car catalytic converters, fluorescent lighting, and several other instruments.

Today, the worldwide demand for the mentioned electronic devices and instruments has quadrupled. To fulfill this ever-increasing global demand, it is essential to have more supply of rare earth metals. — www.matamec.com
